As a continuation of the grass roots collective effort that made the turn-around possible, volunteers have come forward on an unprecedented basis to help the project. This group is made up of partners and clients that are committed to seeing Red Frog forge ahead. The volunteers are investing their own time and energy to help not only their own investment but the project at large. Jim & Anita Steele - Jim and Anita became partners in the firm during the re-structuring process and also have a contract on a beachfront lot and villa in phase 1. With Jim's deep construction experience in the US and Anita's willingness to support the cause, the couple moved to the project in October of 2008 to help re-start construction. Jim as been instrumental in the repair process and construction advancement to date and will continue to volunteer on a full time basis to lead quality control, repair, and client interface moving ahead.
Brett & Diem Korsgaard - Brett and Diem Korsgaard became partners in the firm during the re-structuring process and have purchased a completed home in phase 1. In addition, they, along with their two beautiful children have moved to the project to volunteer on a full time basis. Brett is now leading the public, environmental, and community relations for OGI to help re-build the project's image and establish important partnerships for the long term success of the firm.
Jan Bartone - Jan became partner in the firm during the restructuring process and has a contract option for a lot in phase 1. She has expanded her original role client service coordinator now handling not only interior design needs for clients but also closing and options services. Jan is now responsible for assisting clients in their mortgage and insurance needs as well as interfacing with the operations department to ensure proper completion of contracted options.
Paul Bartone - Paul became partner in the firm during the restructuring process and has a contract option for a lot in phase 1. He volunteered to help re-organize our inventory and warehousing on the project. This was a major hurdle after being down so long and with so much inventory on hand. Paul's significant experience in warehousing and logistics helped him already start the process being on site in May to get it rolling and now overseeing the completion of the process.
Matt Haley - Matt became partner in the firm during the restructuring process and has a contract option for a lot in phase 1 and owns a lot in phase 1. He has been working for the project since the beginning and has now expanded his role even more so to help on many fronts. These include not only load assessment and utility design but also Utility Management, Asset Management , client rate studies, and general consulting services. Matt invests a significant amount of time to assist the project on a part time basis.
Gary Swanson - Gary became partner in the firm during the restructuring process and owns a lot in phase 1. He has been working for the project for several years with his firm, Energy Management Solutions, where he and Matt Haley are partners. This firm's expertise is focused on energy conservation and is assisting OGI in long term energy planning needs. The firm is looking at alternative energy sources including hydro-power from the mainland and methane gas digesters using banana waste.
Anne Sostowski - Anne and Mike became partners in the firm during the re-structuring process and also own a lot in phase 1. Anne has volunteered to help Brett on the public relations front building stronger relationships with the Panama government. Specifically, she has already helped in the client petition and letter campaign uniting the clients together to lobby for their interests and other foreign investors in Panama. This is an important initiative for OGI to ensure our clients' and investors' voices are heard and that the government knows the strength behind the voice.
Jen Ogren Dehn - Jen is a client in phase 1 that has volunteered to help OGI's Bocas Bound initiative. She has significant travel and tourism experience along with hostel knowledge that will really help the Bocas Bound launch. Jen has already begun her work doing a full assessment of the hostel market in Bocas and Panama and is intimately involved in the design and planning for the launch of Bocas Bound.
John Dehn - John is a client in phase 1 that has volunteered to help OGI with a producing video footage for OGI's brand improvement initiative and new sales.
Ron Benson - Ron is a client in phase 1 that has volunteered to help with the inventory and warehouse re-organization initiative. He is a carpenter by trade and is onsite to help re-build the warehouse system.
Mary Bolton - Mary is a partner and client in phase 1 that has volunteered to help with Fundacion Rana Roja and design work for the project.
Boris Kushnir - Boris is a client in phase 1 that has volunteered his time to bring the CMMB together with the Fundacion Rana Roja by successfully donating hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical supplies to the local hospital.
Interns - Justin Douglas, Jameson Gardiner and Jocelyn Gardiner. Each of these enthusiastic individuals are an important part of our great team in Bocas Del Toro. OGI is looking for sharp interns who want to learn a great deal and be a part of an incredible project.
